About: Anheuser-Busch was founded in 1852. There are five Brewery tour locations in USA: St. Louis, MO; Fairfield, CA; Fort Collins, CO; Jacksonville, FL; and Merrimack, NH. The majestic creatures of Clydesdales have come to represent the values of family tradition, vision, courage, and integrity that form the foundation of Anheuser-Busch’s success. The tradition began in 1933 when August A. Busch, Jr. presented his father with a team of horses and a bright red brewery wagon to celebrate the end of Prohibition. Back in the day, these Clydesdales and the red wagon are used to deliver beer. The company is headquartered in St. Louis, MO.

My Experiences: My friend and I toured the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis, MO on December 2010. The tour was around 40 minutes long. It was composed of walking and trolley ride – walking outside and touring inside some buildings where the beer processes from begins to end. There was so much history to this beer company because it was founded so long ago. A lot of decorations inside each building came from way back then, including that unique green chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I could not remember how many years old it was. Each beer tour ends with beer sample and snacks. There is a gift shop at the end to buy souvenirs.
Pros: free beer sample at the end of the tour, first hand view of the beer making machines, and learn the history
Cons: too cold to tour in December
I rate it 5 stars!
