About: The Savannah Belles Ferry offers a unique alternative to cross the Savannah River. There are three ferry landings: River Street at City Hall, Waving Girl Landing at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront, and Hutchinson Island at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center. The ferry ride is free and at each stop, people get on and off the ferry. There are benches to sit inside and outside the ferry.
My Experiences: My family and I was at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center. The view was spectacular. I snapped a few pictures below for you to see. We saw the ferry stopped at the landing and people were getting on and off. We got in line and got on too, not knowing what to expect. Luckily, it was a good experience and we’re looking forward to experiencing it again. We didn’t have much time to browse what’s on the other side of the river so we didn’t get off at the other two stops. We went on a round trip and got off at the convention center again.
Pros: free ride across the river, ferry ride is fun
Cons: engine is a bit loud
I rate it 4.9 stars!
