World After Review

About: World After is a fiction novel and also book 2 of the Penryn & The End of Days series written by Susan Ee. It was published on 11/19/13 by Skyscape of New York. The genre is Teens and Young Adult, Sci Fi and Fantasy. Here is my review for the first book: Angelfall .

My Experience: I started reading this book on 8/30/15 and finished it on 9/1/15. I like the witty and fun attitude between Penryn and Raffe. There is so little in this book that I give a .5 stars less. The story is good and the author writes very well, but a story missing one of the main characters make the read less interesting. There is a lot going on in this book following the first book but I would really love the book a lot more if Raffe is present throughout the book. If the author adds a chapter on what is going on with Raffe from his point of view, readers would feel more interested in reading this book. Although the book is only focusing on the point of view from Penryn, maybe someone else can talk about Raffe and Penryn can eavesdrop. The story is a page turner with a lot of actions and suspense. Sometimes I feel goose bumps when reading this book. Who would have thought Teens & YA books can be so intense.

Pros: lots of actions, fast read, page turner, strong female lead, very well written,

Cons: missing Raffe

I rate it 4.5 stars!
