Reading Goals for 2020!

Hi Everyone!

This is my first post ever focusing on reading goals! I’m starting early on planning my reading for next year.

In the past, I read many YA fantasy books and for the most part, I loved it. Then I get irritated when all of the books started having the main character specializing in bows and arrows as the weapon of choice. I stopped reading YA fantasy after that and turned my focus to thrillers.

I loved mystery thrillers and psychological thrillers! I have read many for around 2 years. Now I’m thinking and wanting to go back and catch up on my YA fantasy books!

So here’s my list:

I want to re-read:

The Raven Cycle (excited to read Call Down the Hawk)

The Hunger Games (there is a new book coming out called The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in May 2020).

Shades of Magic

The Lunar Chronicles

The Winner’s Series

Series to Finish:

The Geisha and all books from Bardugo

Legend series

A Court of Thorns and Roses series

Series to Read

All books by VE Schwab

Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit

Games of Throne

The Name of the Wind

I’m sure there’s more..

I also want to read some non-fiction books to learn something.

My daughter is growing up and will want me to read to her so I will be reading some picture books too.

I have never read a Stephen King’s book and I really need to read, at least one!

Lastly, read books on my shelf!

I don’t think I can stop reading thrillers so I might continue, just not all the time.

Sounds like a lot. 1 whole year still doesn’t sound like I will have enough time to read them all 😂

Happy Reading Everyone! What are your reading goals?
