November 2021 Wrap-Up #readingwrapup #monthlywrapup #bookworm #picturebooks

Hi Everyone!

Hope your November was great. I read a total of 44 books but the whole month I thought I was having the reading and blog posting slump! Book review slump was true because I caught up on the last day by writing 3 reviews. The above picture consisted of books where I read and wrote detailed reviews for each one of them on my blog. Links are here: Aurora’s End, Game On, Courageous Creatures, Human Journey, The Family Tree, Skyhunter, What Does it Mean to Be Green? and My Favorite Color is Green. The activity book was fun to do with my son. The picture books were great reads for my toddler. I’m glad I finished the series on Aurora Cycle. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed reading Janet Evanovich’s book. It’s my first read by her. I loved the other books too. I’m excited to start a whole new series in December.

I’m reading a lot of picture books nowadays because my daughter is two years old and I want to teach her many things. Books are great places for learning. I can teach her to count, color, objects, and sentences. I’m currently subscribed to Kindle Unlimited and my mini reviews for these books below are posted on my Goodreads account (see link in About Me page). Many of these books were excellent reads!

My family stayed home for Thanksgiving this year. We ordered a Thanksgiving meal from Whole Foods. It was excellent. I also ordered the corn and shrimp chowder but it didn’t look good on pictures. It tasted great too. I loved the gravy. It was thick in consistency and creamy. I made extra mashed potatoes the next day to eat with the leftover gravy. At first I signed up to order a size small Turkey but later they ran out and substituted me with the breast. It was good too. I might consider doing this again in the future if we don’t travel to Florida to be with my parents. Otherwise my mom do cook a delicious Thanksgiving meal too. It’s my first time ever to order out for Thanksgiving. My friend gave me the idea. She ordered from Cracker Barrel. But at Cracker Barrel, somehow her Turkey breast doesn’t have the breast bone like my order.. I liked the bone. I cooked soup with it.

Happy Reading Everyone! Can’t believe the last month of the year is here!

xoxo,

Jasmine
