My Experience: I started reading I Wish Wish Wish for You for my toddler’s nap time on 3/26/2022 and we finished it that same day. We have since read it again and again at every nap time and bedtime. Fantastic illustrations and well wishes for readers to read. I loved all wishes in this book! There were encouragements for kids to reach high and do more. I liked the reminder about beauty in ordinary things and to never pass up on adventures. A great reminder to kids being who they are and to speak up from their hearts. I love happy books and this book promote activities for kids to be active and do things that make them happy including trying new things and making friends who believe in them.
This story started with a wish and that it’s believed that wishes do come true. So the rest of the story were different wishes for all readers. The first wish was for readers to find beauty in ordinary things like sunrise and butterfly wings. Next was a wish for readers to laugh out loud and to know the feelings of how being proud felt. Another wish was for readers to know that there will be many moments for glad on the other side of sad. More wishes for readers to try new things and to learn that there’s nothing readers can’t do. A wish of more dos than don’ts and more I wills than I won’ts. A rhyming read, filled with reminders that it’s okay to be different, positive thinking, and inspirations to reach higher.
I Wish Wish Wish for You was very well written and illustrated. This picture book became an instant favorite of my daughter’s story before sleep. This book is perfect in every way. Great diversity. Excellent advices for kids to be kind to one another and to go above and beyond because there’s no limit to what kids can do. My most favorite illustrations was the beach view but I do love rainbow in the raindrops too. My toddler loved the laugh out loud page because of the candy and rainbow on the kids’ stomach. She also loved the bubbles! This book is definitely a perfect gift for any occasion because kids need encouragements at all time. I highly recommend everyone to read this book!
I rate it 5 stars!
